Overview
This app helps midwifery practices record births and the clinical detail around them, then turn that record into analytics across the whole caseload.
Who it’s for
Section titled “Who it’s for”Independent and group midwifery practices that want a single, secure home for birth records — instead of spreadsheets — and want to learn from their own data over time.
How the pieces fit together
Section titled “How the pieces fit together”The app is organized around a small set of connected ideas:
- Practice — your organization. Everything in the app belongs to a practice, and each practice’s data is kept separate from every other practice’s.
- Providers — the midwives and staff who log in. Providers belong to a practice and only ever see that practice’s records.
- Patients — the birthing people in your care.
- Births — a recorded birth event for a patient, with the clinical detail you capture around it.
- Babies — the newborn(s) recorded as part of a birth.
In short: a practice has providers, who care for patients, who have births, which produce babies.
